What Domaintile is
Domaintile reads every new .com, .net, .org and .xyz registration each day and splits each name into words. It shows which words people are registering, which ones spiked today, and whether a spike is one buyer’s bulk registration or broad demand from many registrars. Each word has its own page with daily history, and a monthly report sums up the month. Built by a UK domain investor and developer.
Numbers you can use
- Monthly reports: the month’s new and dropped names, the words that rose and fell, with a CSV download.
- Daily changes: new and dropped names for each day.
- Spikes: words registered far above their usual rate, labelled “One buyer”, “Part batch” or “Broad”.
- Keyword pages, for example /keyword/ai: how many names use a word, and its daily history.
- Methodology: where the numbers come from and what each one means.
We publish counts and statistics. The data licence does not allow lists of registered or dropped names.
How to cite
